EmptinessIn the vast expanses of the void marsh,
We're encapsulated softly through winter and dead growth.
We sit silent and unemotional for a length of a breath.

There is no startled midnight moon to give us illumination.
So we make our own with sewn up hearts that beat and pulse a low red ember.

We'll make our home here on matchsticks so when the sun does come we will
ignite like new stars. Hurdling head down into the impact point of deviation.

Sitting in our sky chairs above specs of dust that carry inhabitant drones.
